Another take-off for this blog
Back in the late summer of 2009, I decided to pull the plug on the SmallBusiness.com Blog — or, at least, on what had become of it. We had started out with great intensions, but it headed a little sideways. And by “we,” I mean “I.” I had intended to use this blog as a place to keep people up to date with what was taking place on SmallBusiness.com, but, well, it never quite developed the kind of rhythm, pace and reason for being that makes a recurring feature, like a blog, work.
For reasons I hope will become apparent, I think it’s a good time for this blog to take off again.
This go around, I’m trying something different. I’m actually trying to create a meaningful blog. One that ties together what we’re doing on SmallBusiness.com with what’s taking place on the web and in the world of small business.
I’ll be including other voices on this blog, so please let me know if you’d like to contribute to it. I’ll be blogging more about what we’re trying — or just watch. And another thing. I’ll be doing lots of video on this blog: something I’ve never done before.
So like the Wright brothers did after their first flight. We’re trying it again.
